we decided to start making our giant tree ... trees grow in the soil
I have nicknamed the tree - the tree of life
we had the older kids in the morning and they made the base of the tree after drawing us things that grow in the soild
we had lunch with the teachers and shared our tiffins
they ususally give us a lot of theirs and do not take much of ours
after lunch we had the younger kids -maybe 18 months till 4/5 ... the look on their little faces when they realised we were actually going to do something with them - it was priceless
they all made fantastic leaves for the tree of life and had a great time
painting seems to go down better than colouring in ....
after work we came back to Sangam and we joined the advocacy seminar peeps in our local veg restaurant for dinner
